When you visit this website, our hosting provider Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA, automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access). This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is not merged with other data sources. 3. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, phone, or any contact form on this site, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message content) is stored exclusively to process your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry or performance of a contract).
Please only enter the details necessary for arranging an appointment in the contact form. More detailed health information counts as a special category of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) and is best discussed in person during treatment, not in the form or by email.
4. Online appointment booking (Cal.com)
For online appointment booking, we use the service Cal.com, provided by Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA (EU representative pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR: Felix Kolodziej, reachable at felix@cal.com). When you book an appointment, the data you enter (name, email address, chosen date/time, and any optional notes) is transmitted to and processed by Cal.com in order to arrange the appointment and send you a confirmation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or a pre-contractual measure).
Cal.com processes data in the USA. For data transfers to the USA, Cal.com relies on standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in Cal.com's privacy policy: cal.com/privacy.
Note: Please do not include any relevant health-related details in the booking notes field — we'll discuss those in person.
5. Google Fonts
This website uses the fonts "Cormorant Garamond" and "Work Sans" from Google Fonts. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Google's servers (Google Ireland Limited). Your IP address may be transmitted to Google in this process. 6. Google Maps
On the contact page, we link to Google Maps to make it easier to find the practice. The map is not embedded — visiting the page does not transmit any data to Google. Only when you actively click the link do you leave our website and go to Google Maps, where Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Video and audio content
The video and audio files embedded on this website (practice walkthrough, Ö1 radio segment) are delivered directly from our own server, not from an external platform such as YouTube. No data is transmitted to third parties unless you actively start playback.
8. Google reviews
On some pages we display selected customer testimonials as fixed text, along with a "See all reviews on Google" button. This button is only a link to Google Maps — the reviews are not embedded as a live widget, so visiting our page does not automatically transmit any data to Google. Only when you actively click the button do you leave our website and go to Google, where Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
9. Cookies
This website currently does not use any of its own tracking or marketing cookies. Technically necessary cookies may be set by embedded third-party services (see above).
10. Your rights
You have the right at any time to request information about the data we hold about you, as well as to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact manuel@seiler-shiatsu.at informally to do so.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, www.dsb.gv.at.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy will be updated accordingly whenever the website changes (e.g. a new booking system, new embedded services).
